It states in “Psalm 91:1” “He that dwelled in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.”
One of the most popular questions asked and never quite answered to satisfaction is! Why is it that there are people walking around healed! Then there are individuals that aren’t granted the gratification of being redeemed from there pain? It’s a topic that will always cause people to be frustrated with life and how some times life is unfair I that way.
In the Bible it talks about how Jesus was ministering to the people and he healed some of the individuals that he encountered but if you notice Jesus did not heal every one who was sick that he encountered. Though there is, a lot of good reasons for that which are!
Point one. Lack of faith, if you do not the faith then how can, you believe in God. Because you must have faith to believe and believing is seeing and seeing is faith. It takes faith to receive a miracle or healing from God. Faith is not enough in itself. Words are not enough in themselves. You mix the two together and it’s explosive.
Faith comes as you allow yourself to hear the word of God in the area of healing. It states in “Romains 10:17” “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Point two. The lack of knowledge is a dangerous thing to have. You can be easily a strayed from what the word of God says if you are not aware of what is being preached. Therefore being a strayed from the point that you need to be with God and your faith in him.
In “Hosea 4:6” “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
Point three. Failure to ask of God for what you need; yet ye have not, because ye asked not. Though those who sin and curse against God. Ask but are turned away, since you might take what he has given you and use it for evil. It says in “James 4:3” “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
I had never witnessed the Healing of God first hand before though my friends and I have. On Nov. 12th, 2010, when our van rolled from, hitting black ice near Baker City, Oregon! Though I have no memory of those three days of the aftermath of the accident! My friends told me later that while we were on that road after being ejected form the van. That once we started praying to God for help that his presents came upon us. On that day I received the Holy Spirit on the side of the road near Baker City.
I do hope that one day I can remember that day just so I can know what it was like to receive the Holy Spirit. I know just by having the Holy Spirit, my life has changed to such an extreme that I would never have expected.
I do remember the pain my friends were in from there injuries, and how most of them were told it would be several months till they would be able to function normally like before. Though not to long after the accident about three months after the accident most of my friends were back at school and they no longer needed the help of others to go some where like before. There broken bones were mended and it was only by the healing of God’s grace that any of us are here today. Functioning normally like before the accident! Ask and it shall be given unto you.
Even if one is not healed on this earth. Then we’ll be healed one day when we reach the time to go home to see our heavenly Father. There is no pain and suffering in heaven and that thought alone is encouraging for me, and many others.
“So Jesus answered and said to them, have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to the mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and dose not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass he will have whatever he says.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive then, and you will have them.”
